Saturday, October 29 notes.

Earlier this week, there were technical issues with the NABC web site, and consequently, it wasn't possible to proceed with the semi-regular news updates. The problem has been resolved, and here's a brief update until next week.

Music note: Don't forget Misha Feigin, who'll be playing live at Rich O's on Saturday night (tonight) at 9:00 p.m.

Brewery expansion note: NABC's new fermenters and serving tanks finally have arrived, and installation work has begun.

Cask ale note: As of Friday night, the cask-conditioned Browning's ESB (single varietal hopping; East Kent Goldings only) still was pouring on the hand pull. It is the final Lupulin Land cask ale. Next up is a firkin of NABC Croupier, which I'm guessing will be tapped Monday or Tuesday next week.

Guest beer note: Sierra Nevada Celebration Ale went on tap Tuesday; we
may run out tonight or Monday, but more is on the way next week.

Bottled beer note: The daily bottled list has been revised and updated, with a few deletions and the addition of beers from Avery (Beast, Czar and Reverend), Founders (Dirty Bastard, Red's Rye), Great Divide (Hercules, Oak Aged Yeti); Broughton's Black Douglas; and Drouin pear cider from France.

In mid-November, Rogue's XS series (I2PA, Old Crustacean Barley Wine, Russian Imperial Stout) will be added.

Also, a new wave of guest bottles is about to break, including Avery The Kaiser, Jolly Pumpkin's Gold and Amber, Great Divide Hibernation Ale, and Founders Black Rye.
